Flash season 3 premiere
Barry Allen with Kid Flash in The Flash season 3 The CW/ Warner Bros TV

The Flash season 3 will go on a week-long hiatus and return with all-new episode on 15 November, at 8pm EST on The CW Network. Episode 6 is titled, Shade, where Wally West has visions of being the Kid Flash.

According to the official synopsis, "When Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) starts having dreams about being Kid Flash, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he has to tell Wally, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in order to keep him safe."

Fans remember that Wally was Kid Flash in Flashpoint timeline that Barry had created but after the timeline was restored, Wally had no powers. Dr. Alchemy, who has the ability to restore peoples's power, will take advantage of Wally's desire, which may not end very well for the young kid.

As a promo for the episode shows Wally locked in Star Labs cell yelling, "He is in my head," then angrily shouts at his sister to let him out of the cell. Iris tells her team that "Wally was possessed."

Barry then admits, "It's all because I created Flashpoint." The promo also shows Barry coming face-to-face with the villain as he declares in his chilly voice, "You have no idea what's about to begin."

Grant Gustin spoke to IGN about the new villain, Alchemy. He said, "[Alchemy's] the biggest, scariest presence we've had on the show. There's something about Alchemy that we've never had. He's not a speedster, so he's just going to come in at everybody from different angles, using tactics that we haven't seen yet. He's scarier for a lot of psychological reasons, that others haven't had."

Jesse L. Martin who plays Joe West will also be against the idea of his son, Wally, becoming a Speedster. He said, "[Joe] obviously doesn't want two of his kids running around the city getting into all kinds of danger. This Alchemy character is sort of putting a whammy on Wally and basically telling him that he could restore his powers, and it's is causing me all kinds of angst.
