Wrestling legend Ric Flair stirred quite a controversy after he announced that Hollywood diva Halle Berry was one of the women who had taken a ride on his "Space Mountain" before she was famous. Following the controversial claims of the retired WWE star that he had slept with Berry, the Catwoman actress has shot back denying any such rendezvous with Flair.

Berry's representative refuted the story on Tuesday. A source told TMZ the Monster's Ball actress hasn't even heard of him.

"There is no truth to this! Halle has literally never even heard of him let alone met him!!!" the source said, adding that the actress, who is currently married to Olivier Martinez, was deeply "offended" by the ex-wrestler's accusations.

"A man doesn't get to sexualize and lie about a woman he's never met to better himself or his name. It's offensive, demeaning and beyond misogynistic."

Flair recently made headlines about his sexual conquests during the Ask Naitch segment of The Ric Flair Show. He went on to brag about having slept with the 50-year-old actress when asked by a fan via Twitter if any celebrity had ridden the "Space Mountain", a reference to his manhood.

"Oh gosh, several dozen. Do you want me to start with Halle Berry?" he said in answer to the fan's question, raising quite a few eyebrows. "Of course she did. She was in Atlanta and she had just gotten divorced from Dave Justice," he continued.

The tall claims made by the WWE Hall of Famer seemed to have taken the podcast co-host Conrad Thompson by surprise, who asked, "Wait, are you telling a real story right now?" To this, an unfazed Flair replied, "Would I have to make up a lie?"

The 67-year-old former WWE champ is currently engaged to be married for the fifth time after his last divorce in 2012. Meanwhile, Berry and Martinez had filed for divorce last year but don't seem to be in any hurry to finalise their separation.
