X Games

X Games have come a long way from obscurity to mainstream sports. That's why we now have the first ever X Games Championship event. As far as the summer season of the sport goes, this is the final event of the first ever 2026 MoonPay X Games League (XGL) Summer Season.

Everything has been set and confirmed by X Games CEO Jeremy Bloom, who together with skateboard superstar Reese Nelson, BMX legend Kevin Peraza, New Orleans & Co. President/CEO Walt Leger III, and Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation President/CEO Jay Cicero, have made the decision official. This sports festival is scheduled for the period from 24th of July, until 26th of July, with the venue being Caesars Superdome. This is a monumental moment for the venue itself, but more on that later on.

The event will not be all about the sports, but as we are used to, there will be bits of it dedicated to music, with the top performers yet to be announced. The size of the event is merited by the number of people participating, starting from different people from BMX, Moto X, skateboarding, with companies such as Monster Energy and more recent Stake's X Games sponsorship being in the centre of the happenings.

The X Games New Orleans event is the third event of the X Games summer season. Two major events are already behind us, them being X Games Sacramento 2026, from June 26th to June 28th, and X Games Japan 2026 from July 4th to 5th of July 2026. All three events operate under the umbrella of 2026 MoonPay X Games League (XGL) Summer Season.

The games themselves are just part of the equation that will make the sports great. Before the events in Sacramento, Japan, and New Orleans were scheduled, we also had the inaugural MoonPay X Games League Summer Draft, where XC Los Angeles, XC New York, XC São Paulo, and XC Tokyo all selected their roster for what awaited them in the summer.

Caesars Superdome as First NFL Stadium to Host X Games

History is being written in Louisiana. For the first time ever, in its history, New Orleans will host an X Games event in the city, and as we said it is on schedule from 24th to 26 July. The best of the best x sports athletes will be heading to New Orleans, and for three days Caesars Superdome is going to be their home. Never before has an event of this magnitude, and there has been major events, been held at an NFL stadium. While the sport is going to take the centre stage, the three day tournament will be more of a festivity for fans and participants alike. Those who buy tickets will be able to witness the best athletes that sport has to offer, rising stars in the sport, home grown athletes, and the new format of competition that will feature X teams.

With everything surrounding X Games, we can say with certainty that more focus will be put on sport than it never was before. Also, with the way it moves, regarding its sponsorship deals it got in recent times, there will be more prize money for participants, attracting more talent down the road. One of the deals that attracted the most attention due to its size, and partner recognition is a contract between X Games and online casinos and sports betting outlet Stake.

Sports Betting and X Games

Stake is a company that puts a lot of effort in its branding. That's why you will see their name associated only with top brands, athletes, clubs, and individuals. They're also not shy to dive into uncharted waters when it comes to sports and betting. X Games fall into that category. Today, Stake is the official action sports betting partner. When the X Games League (XGL) was formed they stepped right into the frame. The official partnership was announced during the Winter X Games in Aspen.

The collaboration survived the winter, and it is stronger than ever during the summer season. Both brands are leaders in their respective domains, and this partnership will allow both to grow beyond what was previously imaginable. X Games cover sports such as skateboarding, BMX, motocross, skiing, and snowboarding, and Stake now finds its place in the centre of it. If you ever thought that betting on action sports needs to be a thing, this is then the right moment to check out the X Games betting odds available at Stake.

The partnership between X Games and Stake, goes far beyond just a mere sponsorship. All annual events, both as a part of winter and summer seasons, together with Summer XGL Draft have been broadcast live on KICK. With this done, global streaming, online sports betting, and high end action sports have been brought closer than they have ever been. With the XGL calendar expanding in the future, the fans of the sports, of sports betting, and steaming will have more things in common to look forward to than previously believed.

One of the athletes, and we're talking about the biggest star in action sports, Nyjah Huston, has already signed an exclusive deal with Stake to be their brand ambassador.

Nyjah Huston X Stake

Nyjah Huston is probably the biggest name in action sports at the moment. He's representing the XC New York, and so far he's collected 80 points for his team. He's competing from Laguna Beach, California, and thus far in his career, he has gotten to the top of action sports by having 15 gold medals, 9 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals in skateboarding. When it comes to X Games Skateboard Street competitions, no one comes close to Nyjah Huston. The sheer number of his accolades speaks volumes of how good he is, but to truly understand you need to see him do his magic.

While he was always a big name in action sports, the moment where he really met global stardom was during the Paris Olympics in 2024. It was the games where action sports led with skateboarding were introduced as an Olympic sport. Huston took home the bronze medal and showed the world what top athletes in skateboarding were capable of at the biggest stage of them all. With the games now coming to his country, with the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, Nyjah will have an opportunity to cement his legacy with another medal on home soil. Knowing that all of it might happen under their umbrella, Stake has made a bold move at the right moment to associate itself with X Games and one of the biggest names in the sport, Nyjah Huston.

Of course, deals such as these come at the satisfaction of all parties involved. Stake is penetrating an yet unexplored market. The sport and its athletes are already benefiting from it, while the fans will have access to all events via KICK streaming, but also the possibility to wager on their favourite sports and athletes. In the world of Huston himself: "It's a great sign to see a company like Stake investing into X Games, action sports athletes and skateboarding. I've always thought contest skating needs to get eyes on it and brands like Stake being involved is a step in the right direction."
