Pretty Little Liars season 7
Jason returns to Rosewood to warn Alison about Mary Drake in Pretty Little Liars season 7 Freeform

Pretty Little Liars season 7 will return with episode 7 this Tuesday (9 August) at 8pm EST on Freeform. The episode will see another homecoming of an old favourite character and it is no other than Alison's brother Jason. He has returned to Rosewood to caution his sister about the cruel intention of their mother Jessica DiLaurentis's twin Mary Drake.

In the previous episode, Mary managed to gain Ali's sympathy by narrating her painful childhood and how Jessica used to snatch everything from her including her child. Meanwhile, the liars, Aria, Hanna, Emily and Spencer dig deep inside the DiLaurentis's history at the cellar of Ali's house and get more clues about Uber A. A promo for the upcoming episode offers a short glimpse of a red-hooded person, possibly Uber A.

The official synopsis for episode 7 titled Original G'A'ngsters reads: "Jason returns to town to stop Ali from getting too close to Mary. The girls learn something new about Mary and Mrs DiLaurentis that leads them to a storm cellar full of clues. Ezra gets a call about someone in his past that could change his course. Noel Kahn grows more and more suspicious and rises to the top of the list of suspects for Uber A."

Here is a brief preview of the episode based on the promo: Spencer, who is currently struggling with her relationship with Caleb, will have a huge fight with her ex-boyfriend Tobby and ask him to stay out of the Uber A investigation. The episode also raises suspicions about Jenna's blindness and Mary's plans of destroying the DiLaurentis family.

Aria and Jason, meanwhile, have a discussion regarding a "secret." It appears the Rosewood police will finally locate the body of Elliot Rollins, who was buried by the liars in the fourth episode. Elsewhere, Ali, Hanna, and Spencer get trapped in the car and scream for help as they assume the car will blow up. However, to their horror, nothing happens but they find the warning, "I see you" written on the windshield of the car signalling the terror of the masked villain in their life.
