Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has praised Eden Hazard's performance during his side's 2-0 victory against Stoke City.

Goals from John Terry and Cesc Fabregas wrapped up a 2-0 victory in what was at times a bruising encounter for the Premier League leaders

Belgian winger Hazard was subject to a reckless tackle by Stoke full back Phil Bardsley early in the second half, but Mourinho praised the resilience of professionalism to not be unnerved by the challenge.

Hazard went on to set up the Fabregas goal to make it six goals and three assists in the 17 games he has played so far this season.

Chelsea now begin a testing set of Christmas fixtures which starts with West Ham at home, before subsequent away trips to Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur.
