According to The Daily Mail, Beiber was seen serenading Gomez with Motown tune My Girl on a piano at a LA hotel bar. In the same month the 22-year-old posted two throwback photographs with Gomez, it reported.

Recently, it was reported that the Baby hit-maker was not comfortable seeing Gomez with another man as it breaks his heart. "Justin feels awful that Selena thinks relationships are hard after they dated. He never, ever wanted to hurt her or make her have a bad taste in her mouth about future relationships because of their own ups and downs," a source told HollywoodLife.

"On one hand, the thought of seeing Selena in a serious relationship with someone else would definitely be hard to swallow. But on the other hand, he wants her to be happy. He hopes she can forgive him for past hurts and not let all that old drama stifle her love life or more importantly her self esteem," the insider added.

Post their split, Selena had admitted that she was heartbroken. "To me it was: I'm 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that," Gomez had told W Magazine.

"Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things," she explained and added, 'I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn't know where to go."
