As Kanye West remains hospitalised due to emotional meltdown, his wife Kim Kardashian is by his side to support him. But all wasn't well with the couple of late, according to a latest report. A TMZ report claims that the couple were fighting due to the millions of dollars spent on home renovation.

The celebrity couple bought a luxury mansion in Hidden Hill, California two years back with a hefty pay cheque. However, for the renovation of the property the rapper and his reality star wife have spent around $10m (£8.01m), the news outlet claims.

TMZ further claims that the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star complains of paying the renovation fees all by herself while Yeezy keeps changing his mind on the interior decorations and orders the contractors to change the designs, increasing the expenditure amount. The couple reportedly have not yet spent a single night in their new lavish abode.

The report adds that the remodel process has been frustrating and a source of tension for both of them, and to this day they have not spent a single night in the house that they bought 2 years ago.

The French countryside-inspired property is spread over three acres of land with vineyards, fountains, mature trees and expansive lawns. The mansion features 15,667 square feet of living space including living and dining rooms, a home theatre, a game room with a wet bar, a gym, eight fireplaces, eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

The entertainment news website also claims that the mother-of-two once told her sister Khloe regarding the extravagant expenses she was bearing for her dream home renovation. "In the final taping of Khloe's talk show in April, Kim was grousing that they had sunk $8m into their Hidden Hills remodel and it was all her money," claims TMZ.

The Pablo rapper was admitted to UCLA Medical Center on 21 November following exhaustion and dehydration. "Kanye is trying to get better, but he has not been released yet because he and the doctors feel he needs more time to recover," a source told E! News.
