'Look Like a Hamster': Katie Price Sports Heavy Makeup and a Black Eye on NTA Red Carpet

Katie Price turned heads at the National Television Awards on Tuesday night, arriving at London's O2 Arena with heavy makeup covering a black eye just hours after undergoing face filler and new breast implants in Brussels.

The 48-year-old television personality made the glamorous event her first public appearance since reportedly ending her eight-month marriage to Lee Andrews over text after discovering he had only £2.22 in a crypto wallet he claimed held US$50 million.

For context, Price had flown back from Belgium earlier on Tuesday and posted an Instagram video showing swollen cheeks, bruising around her eyes and bandaged breasts after the procedures.

She told her 2.7 million followers she went to Brussels because one breast was still slightly bigger than the other, so surgeons inserted a new implant and she asked them to add a bit more to both. While she was under anaesthesia, filler was injected into hollow areas of her face, placed under the muscle and towards the bone.

By the next morning, the swelling had dropped and she said: 'I look like a hamster and it's sore.' Multiple outlets reported that she consulted a London divorce lawyer and sent Andrews a WhatsApp message saying: 'I have been played and you are not who you say you are. Why have you lied to me?'

The evening also marked Price's first public appearance since Sky aired a four-part documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which explored three decades of her life in the public eye.

Last month she appeared on Olivia Attwood's ITV series Price Of Perfection, where she discussed her extensive cosmetic surgery history.

Undeterred by the bruising, Price arrived with bold black eyeliner, heavy highlight and brown lip gloss, her hair gelled back in a wet-look style. She covered her new breast implants with a long-sleeved white shirt paired with nude and black lace hot pants, black tights and black heels. Large diamond Valentino earrings completed the ensemble.

Her daughter Princess, 19, joined her on the red carpet in a shimmering blue ballgown that could not have contrasted more with her mother's look. The 19-year-old wore her blonde hair in loose curls and sparkled under the arena lights.

Price has had around 17 breast augmentations and increased her cup size earlier this summer.

During her ITV appearance she estimated she has had 30 to 40 procedures in total, including six facelifts, dental work and a fox-eye operation, but said she has paid only about £40,000 because many treatments were offered free due to her fame.

When Attwood expressed shock at the figure, Price hit back: 'I could pay for it if I wanted to get it done.'

Friends are reportedly relieved at her decision to leave Andrews, with one source telling The Sun the final straw came after she accessed his crypto wallet and found just US$3, or £2.22.

Andrews had claimed the wallet contained US$50 million and promised her some of the funds, according to reports.

Price's glam squad allegedly passed on helping her get ready for the red carpet after a falling out, leaving her to rely on a Bolton makeup artist for the NTA look.

She later gushed about the result, saying it was the first time in 48 years she could look in the mirror and say she liked what she saw.
