After teasing her fans in a series of pictures on Instagram that appeared to be taken from inside a moving vehicle, actress Katie Holmes finally revealed her weekend plans and the destination of her mysterious road trip.

Katie Holmes's final destination was Dom Pérignon vineyards in France, where she spent the weekend harvesting grapes for champagne. She took to Instagram to share a closeup photo of grapes and captioned it "harvest season". She tagged the vintage champagne brand in her post, revealing her location.

The 40-year-old later shared a photo of herself actually helping with the grapes harvest. The picture of her basking in the sunlight in France received reactions from her fans. "Thank you @domperignonofficial for the experience of celebrating the harvest season!" Holmes captioned the picture on Instagram.

Saturday also marked the end of the grape harvest for luxury conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. Michelin-starred Chef Alain Ducasse was also present and helped with the harvesting in Hautvillers- the heart of France's champagne region.

Philippe Schauss, chief executive officer of the wines and spirits division of LVMH, said the quality of grapes is exceptionally good this year, reports WWD. "The climate was particularly good in the sense that it was very warm, it was relatively dry — not too dry," Schauss said.

The "Batman" actress was in news last month after reports of her split with longtime boyfriend Jamie Foxx surfaced. The couple were together for six years and separated in May this year, according to a Page Six report. However, the representatives of both the actors didn't comment on the split.

A few days before the news of their split broke, Foxx was spotted holding hands with aspiring singer and model Sela Vave outside a nightclub in West Hollywood. However, there is no confirmation of them dating and Foxx was reportedly just helping her with her career.

Holmes and Foxx had always been private people and had never officially confirmed their relationship. Their last public appearance together was at the 2019 Met Gala. Their dating rumours first surfaced in 2003, after they hit the dance floor together at an event in East Hampton, a year after Holmes split with Tom Cruise, her husband of six years.
