Here's some yuge news: A future US president who looks (and talks) suspiciously like Donald Trump and triggers Armageddon on Earth stars in a caustic new mobile game app.

Once the Earth is in flames in the game, President "Jrump" must colonise other worlds to "make the galaxy great again." He needs to climb walls the player must build for him while he is chased by jet-pack-wearing enemies like scientists or foes who look like Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama and Kim Jong Un.

"Global warming?" Jrump chortles during his speech as the world implodes. "I'd call it global winning!"

The player who fails to build walls to help Jrump leap further from Earth is called a "loser" by the bewigged president.

The video-game-cum-political-satire is the brainchild of New Zealand-based game developers Oddboy & Apparcanum Limited.

"We began to discuss how funny it would be to make a game focused around his love of walls and the apocalypse that might happen following his election," one of the game's creators Tom Bellamy told the Huffington Post.

Bellamy and his team created Jrump in 12 weeks of "very little sleep," but are now excited to see if Trump himself will play it, he said.

Probably not.

"Following Donald Jrump's successful bid at the 2016 US election, international borders have closed up, global warming research has halted ..." says the game's website.

"With the world now in utter chaos and his tiny hands growing increasingly sweaty, its time for Donald to leave to make the galaxy great again. How? By jumping on his favorite things in the world ... walls!"

The app is available free on iTunes and Google Play for both iOS and Android users.
