A entertaining, well-fought match ends in a draw thanks to a late goal from Willian, after Mohamed Salah had given Liverpool the lead in the second half.

Klopp's decision to rest Mane and Firmino did not seem to completely backfire, though they certainly did not do enough to win, with Antonio Conte's men certainly well worth a draw.

Fabregas' first involvement is a lovely ball over the top for Morata, who is just, just offside.

Pedro is on for Bakayoko, who was easily the worst player on the pitch.

Moreno sets Salah free, but his slack pass to Wijnaldum ends Liverpool's promising attack.

Conte set to throw Pedro on, 15 minutes left to play.

Fabregas comes on for Drinkwater, not Bakayoko. Granted Drinkwater is maybe fatigued after little prior game-time, but how does Bakayoko remain?

How is Bakayoko still on the pitch? He has been awful, and his race is surely run as Fabregas gets ready to come on.

Panic stations from Liverpool as Klavan fails to clear twice. The Estonian is lucky his mistakes didn't prove more costly.

Chelsea look to respond immediately but Morata's effort couldn't be directed goal-bound.

Coutinho tries to find Oxlade-Chamberlain, but Bakayoko's pathetic interception steers it into the path of Salah, who finishes expertly. The Egyptian doesn't celebrate, but everyone else in red does. 1-0.

Calls for a penalty for Liverpool as Sturridge's cross hits Cahill on the arm, but there was no chance referee was ever going to award a spot-kick for that.

Liverpool have started the second half superior, but Firmino and Mane may be needed to provide that cutting edge.

A hopeful ball for Oxlade-Chamberlain is read well by Courtois, who did well to control the ball without using his hands on the edge of the area.

Liverpool go close with a couple of set-pieces but fail to really test Courtois.

Chelsea break through Morata and Zappacosta who wins a corner from Henderson. Hazard takes, Cahill wastes.

Courtois almost dropped a major clanger there! Sturridge's meek cross looks easy to gather, but the Belgian fumble and concedes a corner.

Hazard falls just outside the area after being tripped by Milner, but referee Michael Oliver sees nothing untoward, though replays suggest otherwise. You've seen them given, but Oliver has officiated well so far.

We're underway in the second period. Hazard gets a kick off Salah to start things off.

Teams emerging for the second half. Klopp and Conte look a bit sheepish as they stroll out. Hope everything's alright, lads.

Don't know about you, but when Ashley Cole talks, I listen,

Half-time: Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Salah wins a free-kick in a dangerous area out of Alonso. Coutinho's over it, and delivers a decent ball that just misses everybody in the box, before Bakayoko runs the ball out of play.

Moreno writhes around in Antonio Conte's technical box, making the most out of a firm but not wild challenge from Drinkwater.

Silly whinging from the Spaniard, and the referee rightly keeps his cards in his pocket.

Matip's foul on Morata should earn the Cameroonian a yellow card, but it doesn't.

Chelsea have a free-kick in a dangerous area. Alonso takes, and it flashes just wide with Mignolet worried.

Hazard is getting some rough treatment from Liverpool now, as Moreno and Henderson have a couple of bites at him.

Just before, Drinkwater again found acres of space in the Chelsea box but could not trac the flight of Kante's ball.

Salah is almost fed through by Coutinho and then wriggles away from Cahill but his shot is blocked by Christensen.

The teams are in the tunnel, about to walk out onto the famous pitch. Just five minutes to go.

Just 10 minutes to go now. Anfield filling up nicely, but will Chelsea help to empty it quickly? We'll find out, won't we.

Some pre-match thoughts from Antonio Conte:

On formation: "I think this season we are trying a different solution to have more balance because we conceded many goals and we're trying to find solutions [to that], tonight we change something."

On opting for Drinkwater over Fabregas: "I think it's normal rotation and we need rotation. Fabregas has played every game this season and I think this choice is right, I hope."

Less than 20 minutes until kick-off, A reminder of today's teams:

Liverpool: Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Klavan, Moreno, Henderson, Milner, Coutinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Sturridge.

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill (c); Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Kante, Bakayoko, Alonso; Hazard, Morata.

Thibaut Courtois starts for Chelsea today amid reports of a lack of progress in contract negotiations between him and the club.

Antonio Conte is in no doubt of the Belgian's pedigree, and is keen to see him signed up to a new long-term deal before long.

"I like to give my opinion about technical decisions. It is important for the club to face this issue, to face this contract with Courtois," Conte said ahead of Chelsea's clash against Liverpool, as quoted by the Guardian. "I think that Thibaut didn't need my opinion. He knows very well what my thoughts about him are."

"For sure I can tell that Courtois is one of the best, maybe the best goalkeeper in the world, and he is a player who is very important for Chelsea. I can tell this. But for sure the renewal is a task for the club.

"If a big player decides to not sign a new contract it is difficult for a club to try to avoid this issue," Conte explained.

Here are the full-time results from today's 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League.

Everything's set for the Blues in the away dressing room at Anfield...

So Daniel Sturridge leads the line for Liverpool amid uncertainty over his future. The 28-year-old has been a fringe player under Jurgen Klopp, who dismissed suggestions surrounding the Englishman's potential exit and stated his desire to keep Emre Can.

"There's nothing to say here about it [Sturridge's future]," he said, according to Sky Sports. "You can't expect an answer. It's normal he wants to play more."

"[Can] could still sign a contract in May. We want to keep him. We have to be as attractive as possible as a club."

The Reds are in, no doubt encouraged by Lallana's return.

Baffled by the Liverpool team news? Klopp tries to explain:

"Dejan Lovren is not able to play, he's a little bit injured, like Emre, so that's the reason for that change," Klopp told BT Sport.

"We need to use the quality of the squad. I have absolute trust in the squad but then I have to show it. We cannot let the other boys play until they can't play anymore, I said it before, so that's why we change.

"We have fresh legs in, still quality with fantastic options to change in the game - so, good."

"I would say Ox would play similar to how Sadio plays with his own specific skills of course involved," he added.

"Milly is just experience and desire, a really good footballer and is really important for us to protect and defend situations."

Firmino and Mane are benched, but Salah starts for Liverpool.

Conte is all too aware of his talents, but knows Chelsea can't place all their attention on the Egyptian.

"I know him very well, because he played in Italy for many years. Salah is a good player and is very dangerous. He's a technical player, but at the same time is very fast, very strong, very good in 1v1," Conte said.

"Also he's very good to finish. We must pay great attention, but not only to Salah, also to [Sadio] Mane, [Roberto] Firmino, Philippe Coutinho, [Daniel] Sturridge... Liverpool have great potential as a team."

In case you were wondering.

Meanwhile, Antonio Conte sees fit to reunite Danny Drinkwater with N'Golo Kante, who helped Leicester win the Premier League a couple of seasons ago.

Bakayoko is also given a start, with Hazard and Morata acting a front two. Moses is only fit enough for the bench.

So, no Firmino or Mane? Huge call from Klopp, who will be in for pelters if his decision doesn't pay off.

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sturridge come in for the pair who scored in Seville on Tuesday.

Not Premier League related, but Schalke, who were 4-0 down after 25 minutes against arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund, have equalised to make it 4-4 in the 95th min of stoppage time.

Football's a strange game.

Liverpool-bound Naby Keita has just scored for RB Leipzig against Wolfsburg...

Alvaro Morata looks set to return to the Chelsea starting line-up for Saturday's (25 November) high-profile Premier League meeting with Liverpool.

Asked if he would be restored to the first XI against Liverpool at Anfield, Antonio Conte told reporters: "We have to make the best decision game-by-game, to find the best solutions for the team and to give the right rest to my players.

"Last time [in September], Morata played three games in a row [against Stoke City and Atletico Madrid] and, after 20 minutes against Manchester City, he was injured. I have to pay attention in all situations. Sometimes I take a risk but it's my job and I like to do this."

The Blues are in the building...

If these inspirational words from former Blue Michael Ballack don't motivate Chelsea to secure victory, what will?

A very good omen for the Blues, not so for the Reds; Chelsea have won 10 of their last 12 Premier League away games, losing only at Manchester United and Crystal Palace.

For Liverpool, Joel Matip missed the draw in Sevilla but is set to return after a thigh problem. However, Can is a doubt despite playing the final 27 minutes of the Champions League game in midweek after replacing Philippe Coutinho.

Adam Lallana will be bidding to make his first appearance of the season after returning from a hamstring injury, while goalkeepers Danny Ward and Adam Bogdan, as well as defender Nathaniel Clyne, are longer-term absentees.

"Joel Matip trained with the team on Thursday [23 November]," Klopp said. "But Emre Can, he is struggling a little bit. He's a doubt."

Chelsea will be available to call upon Victor Moses for the first time in six weeks.

The Nigerian international limped off with a hamstring injury after just 39 minutes of a shock 2-1 defeat away to former club Crystal Palace on 14 October and has since missed eight matches across all competitions - during which time summer signing Davide Zappacosta has mostly deputised at right wing-back after the versatile Cesar Azpilicueta was moved back into defence.

"His condition is good and for sure he needs a bit of time to recover the best form," Conte told reporters during his pre-match press conference at Cobham on Friday, per football.london.

"Tomorrow he is in our squad and I want to bring him on the bench and decide if there is the necessity to have him on or not. I am very happy as now he is fine, but needs a bit of time to have the best physical condition."

Will Chelsea provide further gloom at Anfield this evening. They've not lost there since April 2012, a few days after they beat the Reds in that year's FA Cup final.

Good afternoon and welcome to IB Times UK's live coverage of Liverpool vs Chelsea.

The Premier League champions have put a good run of form together since being embarrassed by Roma in the Champions League. Antonio Conte's have done well to quash suggestions of a crisis, but they will find it extremely difficult to keep their momentum at Anfield, where Liverpool have been rather imperious so far this season.

Jurgen Klopp's side boast a near-perfect record at home this season, and they will no doubt want to get back to winning ways against Chelsea after collapsing against Sevilla in midweek.
