London Fashion Week Arrives: Watch Catwalk Shows Live

Hot off the Christian Louboutin heels of New York, London Fashion Week has hit the UK.

The industry extravaganza, which attracts some of the world's biggest names in fashion and showbiz, is taking over the capital from 13-17 September.

While most of us are only just making the depressing transition from shorts and sandals to our autumn/winter wardrobes, designers including Burberry, Christopher Kane and Tom Ford are preparing to unveil the hottest trends for next summer!

For five days, all eyes will be on Somerset House and other exclusive venues as some of Britain's biggest designers showcase their latest awe-inspiring collections.

The fashion pack will be out in full force on Monday when Nicole Farhi, Burberry, Christopher Kane, Erdem take centre stage and Emma Hill is expected to showcase her final collection at Mulberry on Sunday.

Notable absences this year include Issa and Louise Gray who are both having a break for a couple of seasons.

The editors to impress will be Emmanuele Alt, Anna Wintour, Hamish Bowles, Anna Dello Russo and Caroline Issa who are expected be in the front row casting their critical eyes over the designs.

British Fashion Council chairman Natalie Massenet told Vogue: "London is always the most packed schedule - you can't miss anything because our designers are unpredictable."
