Freeth is said to have links to Greater Manchester, Tameside and Oldham Greater Manchester Police

Greater Manchester police are searching for a 27-year-old man who jumped from the dock while he was being sentenced and has not been seen for two months.

Scott Anthony Freeth had been convicted of assault and was being sentenced at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court when he made his audacious getaway on 25 June.

Police have been unable to trace him since he ran from the court. Freeth is said to have links to the Tameside, Oldham and Manchester areas.

Police are asking that anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
