Meghan Markle's UK family video has prompted a body-language analysis in which expert Darren Stanton described the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as appearing relaxed and said their postures showed a 'lack of tension'.

The Instagram reel, posted on 13 September, shows Prince Harry fishing, Princess Lilibet cycling and the family spending time outdoors in Britain.

While the footage offers only a brief glimpse of their private life, Stanton said it suggested that both Harry and Meghan appeared at ease in the settings shown.

Darren Stanton, a body-language and behavioural expert speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, said Harry and Meghan's postures in the reel appeared 'natural and unguarded'.

'In terms of their posture, they both seem incredibly chilled and appear to have taken to country life very well,' Stanton said.

He added, 'Meghan's body language suggests that she feels very comfortable in the environment, while Harry seems completely in his element being back in the lifestyle he grew up with. There's a real lack of tension in both of them.'

Stanton's comments are an interpretation of the images shown in the video, rather than confirmation of how either Harry or Meghan privately feels about their return to Britain.

The expert said he saw no obvious signs of discomfort in the footage. He described the pair's presentation as relaxed, placing particular emphasis on their posture, facial expressions and the apparent informality of the family scenes.

Rather than treating that reading as evidence of Harry's state of mind, the footage itself shows him smiling while taking part in an outdoor activity. Stanton interpreted this as consistent with the duke appearing comfortable in the environment shown.

The body-language expert offered a similar assessment of Meghan. He said her 'relaxed posture and overall demeanour' suggested she appeared comfortable during the scenes in which she featured.

'Neither of them appears to be displaying any obvious signs of stress or discomfort, and there's a real sense of ease between them,' Stanton said.
