The Miss Universe Organization has released the trailer of the 63rd annual pageant scheduled to be held in Doral, Miami, on 25 January, 2015.

The Miss Universe 2014 pageant will take place at the US Century Bank Arena at Florida International University. The annual competition will be telecast live on NBC.

"Doral is a symbol of success and holding the Miss Universe Pageant here will amplify its reputation as a world showcase city," the pageant's owner Donald J. Trump said in a statement.

"Since the Greater Miami area is a melting pot of people from all over the world, our contestants will feel right at home as they showcase what the area has to offer," added Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization.

"I cannot think of a better backdrop in January than sunny Miami for our global telecast."

A total of 88 contestants are representing their countries at the pageant. The winner will succeed last year's winner, Gabriela Isler of Venezuela.

All the contestants will compete in the preliminary and national costume competition to win the coveted title.

NBC's Today Show's anchor Natalie Morales and MSNBC's Thomas Roberts will host the three-hour event, which will simulcast in Spanish on Telemundo.

Tickets are now available for the Miss Universe 2014 pageant, preliminary competition and dress rehearsal.
