Outlander Episode 3: Where to Watch Live Stream Online

Outlander, the new British-American television drama series based on Diana Gabaldon's international bestselling novels of the same name, will air its third episode tonight on US TV network Starz.

Outlander Season 1 Episode 3 is called 'The Way Out' and as the title suggests, the episode will show Claire discovering a way to escape Castle Leoch.

The official synopsis for 'The Way Out' reads:

"Claire decides to use her medical skills to aid her escape from Castle Leoch – with Jamie's help, she tends to an ill child. During an evening's entertainment, a story gives Claire hope for her freedom."

Starz released new clips from the upcoming episode that show Claire struggling to find her place and survive in the past by using skills she learned in the present.

The final video is called 'Pitiful'. Book fans should be especially pleased because the scene's dialogue is a fan favorite, according to Hypable.

"It's a nice bookend to the previous scene. Claire sees Dougal as a human being first who just so happens to have a medical affliction. She sees Jamie for who he is, not just a man who has been flogged, and whose wounds she has treated", states the report.

Outlander Season 1 Episode 3 airs on 23 August at 9pm ET (5pm GMT) on Starz.

Starz has also released the plot details for the fourth episode, which will air on Saturday, 30 August. Here is the official synopsis of next week's episode titled 'The Gathering':

"As the Castle prepares for The Gathering, Claire plots her escape. But after a dangerous encounter with a drunken Dougal and an unexpected run-in with Jamie, her plans are dashed."
