Porn star and sex educator Jessica Drake has become the 11th woman to accuse Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, during the final weeks of the campaign for the White House.

Speaking at a news conference in Los Angeles on Saturday, 22 October, the actress said she will risk being called a liar or an opportunist "to stand in solidarity with women who share similar accounts".

Drake, 42, said she met the former US Apprentice host 10 years ago at a golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, where he grabbed and kissed her along with two other women without asking their permission.

He later offered her $10,000 to join him in his suite and to join him on his private jet to fly to Los Angeles.

"I am choosing to share my personal exchange in light of the recently released tapes in order to lend my voice, my strength and my support to the other women who are coming forward," she said. "Collectively, his [Trump's] words and his actions are a huge testament to his character, that of uncontrollable entitlement, misogyny and a sexual assault apologist. This is not acceptable behaviour for anyone, much less a presidential candidate."

A spokesman for Donald Trump released a statement accusing Drake of taking part in a smear campaign from Hillary Clinton's camp.

"This story is totally false and ridiculous. The picture is one of thousands taken out of respect for people asking to have their picture taken with Mr Trump. Mr Trump does not know this person, does not remember this person and would have no interest in ever knowing her," the statement said.

"This is just another attempt by the Clinton campaign to defame a candidate who just today is number one in three different polls. Anyone who would pay thugs to incite violence at a rally against American citizens, as was released on video, will stop at nothing. Just another example of the Clinton campaign trying to rig the election."

Currently, 10 women have made accusations that Donald Trump sexually harassed or assaulted them. The claims date from the 1980s.

Trump has denied all the claims.
