After the murder of A aka Charlotte, Pretty Little Liars season 6 has reintroduced a thrilling plot as the unexpected death in Rosewood has dragged the liars into another web of murder and lies. Aria, Hanna, Emily and Spencer are completely out of the shadow of the terror called A, but their lives have not gotten better.
Warning: Potential spoilers ahead
In the previous episode, it was revealed that Aria and her ex boyfriend decided to meet as they were unable to resist their feelings for each other. However, Lucy Hale's character got scared after seeing Charlotte entering the church (where she was murdered later) and heads back to the hotel. But Ezra stayed back and that made Aria doubt about his involvement in the murder.
"Aria wanted to forget everything that happened in Rosewood and look for something new, but she'll always be in love with him [Ezra]. She will deny it until the end, but maybe they needed to part ways for a while to come back and be something better and stronger. You get to see them be there for each other in a healthy way this time around," Hale told the Hollywood Reporter.
The synopsis of episode 13 titled The Gloves Are On reads:
Meanwhile, Emily comes clean about the last five years, and Aria goes the extra mile to keep Ezra's second book in play with her boss.
