Silent movie "The Artist" won the Motion Picture of the Year Award at the Producers Guild Awards ceremony held on Saturday night at Beverly Hills.
PGA is considered as a harbinger of the Academy Awards to be held in February as most of the PGA victors would be the winning Oscars too.
Oscar winners like "The King's Speech" (2011), "The Hurt Locker" (2010) and "Slumdog Millionaire" (2009) were also among the PGA's best produced picks.
"Boardwalk Empire," "Downton Abbey," "Beats, Rhymes and Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest" and "Adventures of TinTin" are some of the winners at Producers Guild Awards, 2012.
Actor Angeline Jolie received Stanley Kramer award for her directorial debut, "In the Land of Blood and Honey."
