Legendary British entertainer Ronnie Corbett, best known for his partnership with Ronnie Barker in The Two Ronnies, has died aged 85. His publicist confirmed the much-loved TV star died "surrounded by his loving family".

During his career, which spanned five decades, Corbett appeared in some of the most well-known comedy sketches ever seen on British television, including The Two Ronnies' Four Candles sketch, which was ranked the fifth greatest of all-time by Channel 4.

He is best known for his work with his on the Two Ronnies, one of the most successful British TV shows of the 20<sup>th century during its run from 1971 to 1987. Corbett also had a starring role in David Frost's The Frost Report alongside Barker, who died in 2005, and John Cleese.
