A leaked video has revealed that the first free update of 2016 for Star Wars Battlefront will include a new map and new outfits for two of its playable hero characters. The update, which is not believed to be part of the season pass, is expected to go live later this month.

Details of the update were revealed in a video shared by EA Brazil and translated by WCCFTech. According to their translation, the new map will be set on Tatooine and the new outfits will be for Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa.

We're hoping for Luke's orange pilot outfit and Leia's white dress from A New Hope. A Reddit user also found mentions of private matches coming to the game (a mode fans have been crying out for), special community events and daily challenges.

The first free update came shortly after the game's release in November. The Battle of Jakku DLC added a new map based on a location from The Force Awakens and a new mode called Turning Point.

The first of the season pass's four expansion packs has yet to be announced. EA has confirmed however that they will include four new playable heroes and villains, sixteen new maps, some set on new planets, and four new game modes. New weapons and character designs will also be added.

The first expansion is expected to launch in "early 2016". Season pass holders will also be able to access each expansion pack two weeks early.

Star Wars Battlefront is out now on PS4, Xbox One PC. You can read our review of the game here.
