Purin, a nine-year-old beagle who lives with her owner Makoto Kumagai in Tokyo, Japan, has made it into the 2016 Guinness World Records book for the most balls caught by a dog with its paws in one minute.

Purin managed to save 14 goals in 60 seconds. She beat her own record of 11 balls caught in a minute, which she set a year ago.

Her owner has said they practice around 15 minutes a day. He carefully throws each ball to Purin, who stands on her back legs and holds out her paws ready to catch them one at a time.

But catching footballs isn't the only talent Purin has. She is also the current record holder for the fastest 10m travelled on a ball by a dog, set after she balanced on an inflatable Swiss ball and crossed the finish line in just 11.90 seconds.
