Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo Fans Clash Over Disputed Group Chats Alleging Death Threats and Rape Jokes
Rival fan accounts trade allegations of threats and abuse as a Rodrigo supporter disputes the chat screenshots on X

Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo fan accounts have clashed on X over disputed group chat screenshots linked to allegations of death threats and rape jokes. A Rodrigo fan account has rejected images behind accusations against Rodrigo supporters as fabricated.
The exchange unfolded amid criticism of Swift's deluxe album, The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore. Supporters defended its themes of happiness against critics describing it as dull or regressive, while the group chat allegations concern threats and abuse directed at performers.
Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo Fans Trade Allegations
In a post, @rodrigosdata identified a purported Swift fan chat as 'TTPD bl0cked BIllie' and accused its members of coordinating attacks, sharing death threats and directing abusive comments at female performers.
Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga were among the artists the account named as targets. It also claimed that several participants operated large accounts and interacted with their own 'setup accounts'.
The allegations surrounding the purported Swift fan messages also include rape jokes and degrading insults. IBTimes UK cannot independently verify the screenshots' authenticity, their contents or the identities of the alleged participants.
A separate post by @swiftism100, identified as a fan account, alleged that Rodrigo supporters in a group called 'girl so in love' had directed racist remarks and death threats at Swift. It presented the group as having been exposed, a characterisation that @rodrigosdata challenged in a reply.
Why Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo Screenshots are Disputed
Responding beneath that accusation, @rodrigosdata alleged that a Swift fan account had fabricated screenshots to attribute abusive comments to Rodrigo supporters.
'Sad that a swiftie account has to come up with lies and make some fake screenshots just to make it seem like we would stoop so low and say something vile.'
The account pointed to what it described as inconsistent font sizes as the basis for its objection.
'Atleast try to edit your screenshots better next time (check the different font sizes when editing our name LOL)'
The reply targeted the screenshots attributed to Rodrigo supporters. It did not settle the separate allegations about the purported Swift fan chat, nor did the accusation of inconsistent fonts independently establish that any images had been altered. Both the claims about abuse and the denial concern material whose authenticity remains unresolved.

Reaction Across Fan Communities
Other accounts focused their criticism on the alleged targeting of women. @BillieSpotify_ wrote, 'Is this not extremely weird to yall? That gc is solely dedicated to hate on women, and its coming from some of the biggest swiftie accounts like they're really just a cult of hateful losers..'
@livlafluvoo criticised the alleged coordination, writing, 'Its crazy for swifties to make a whole set up gc geared towards other women artists'. The same post described the behaviour as immature and likened the participants to teenagers.
Those comments reflect the users' reactions to the allegations, rather than independent corroboration of the underlying messages.
Meanwhile, @LivieforlifeXD took a different position on the dispute between the two fan communities. The account stated that it would continue supporting both Swift and Rodrigo regardless of the accusations circulating among other users.
