A man was killed by a blow to the head and neck in Tottenham, north London Google Maps

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man was killed by a fatal blow to the head and neck in Tottenham. Police were called by a member of the public at approximately 5pm on 17 November after the body of a was man found near Park View Road.

London Ambulance Service was called but the man – believed to be in his 30s – was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe they know the man's identity but his next of kin are yet to be informed of his death.

A post-mortem examination held on Thursday at Haringey Mortuary gave the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head and neck. A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody at a north London police station.

The investigation is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Jamie Piscopo, form the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
