A 14-year-old girl has been shot dead in the US following a feud on Facebook.
The victim, identified as Kierra'onna Rice, died in hospital of her injuries. Two others were also injured in a park fight that was arranged on Friday (27 February), following an online row.
Investigators say the confrontation began with a quarrel among the girls on Facebook. A group of teenagers allegedly arranged the brawl, which they planned to film, intending to post the footage on social media.
As a physical fight ensued, police say two males, aged 17 and 19, pulled out guns and began firing at the girls.
Two suspects were identified by witnesses and have been taken into custody.
Police in Birmingham, Alabama, have launched a homicide investigation after Friday evening's triple shooting.
