Watch Dogs: New Launch Trailer Reveals Aiden's Quest for Vengeance with Unique Hacking Skills

Watch Dogs's highly-anticipated release is less than a week away while Ubisoft has released a riveting launch trailer revealing its protagonist, Aiden Pearce's, quest for vengeance.

Armed with a gun and a cell phone, Aiden uses the city of Chicago as his ultimate weapon as he relentlessly hacks and manipulates everything connected to the city's network to his own advantage.

In pursuit of those who killed his family members, Aiden is on a hunt to bring down those responsible for his plight and settle scores with them, as he targets his enemies one by one with his unique hacking skills; the cops aren't spared either.

The game synopsis on Watch Dogs's official website reads as follows:

Set in Chicago, where a central network of computers connects everyone and everything, Watch_Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society. Using the city as your weapon, you will embark on a personal mission to inflict your own brand of justice.

Chicago's overarching network is known as the Central Operating System (ctOS), and it controls almost all of the city's technology and information - including key data on all of the city's residents.

You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. While seeking justice for those events, you'll monitor and hack those around you by manipulating the ctOS from the palm of your hand. You'll access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.

As Ubisoft puts it, Watch Dogs unravels in a fully simulated living city conspicuous with the digital or cyber-world wherein the city's infrastructure including traffic lights, train, drawbridge are quickly accessible via Aiden's cell phone that doubles up as a remote control to hack everything across Chicago using Chicago's Central Operating System (ctOS) network for his ultimate quest for vengeance.

With more than 30 traditional weapons at his disposal, Aiden takes off on a long journey with GTA 5 style gameplay mechanics, further strengthened by his unique hacking capabilities.

Gamers are invited to enjoy more than 40 hours of solo or single-player gameplay with access to sports cars, jeeps and boats for quick getaways, as rival gangs and cops chase you down relentlessly.

You get to unlock new missions, side quests and more powerful hacking skills as you level up in the game. Aiden Pearce is not just a seasoned hacker, as he can also gun down dozens of people or evade hot-pursuit by the city's well-trained police department.

Aiden is a complete package as he switches between a secret agent and a tech genius, depending on what the situation demands.

Electrifying shootouts, state-of-the-art physics and handling with an array of 65 fast cars to choose from will make any gamer crave for high-octane driving, according to the developer.

Cutting through the buildings, scaling rooftops and exploring the city's dangerous underground subways will make for an exhilarating gameplay experience, while Ubisoft's new Disrupt game engine delivers stunning visuals and great detail of the immersive game world.
