Watch Royal Pains season 7 premiere live online: Producer promises 'major event' for Hank

Royal Pains returns with season 7 tonight (June 2) at 10pm on USA Network.

The premiere episode is titled, Rebound and follows Hank going full steam ahead on a quest for romance.

The official synopsis for episode 1 reads as follows:

Hank (Mark Feuerstein) helps a TV host who is off her game and takes a big step in his personal life. When Evan (Paulo Costanzo) and Paige (Brooke D'Orsay) buy a new home and get some unexpected news, they learn the next chapter in their lives will be filled with ups and downs. Divya (Resma Shetty) gets more than she bargained for when she saves the life of a young skateboarder on the street, and Boris (Campbell Scott) offers Evan an exciting career opportunity.

Evan will find himself stretched a little thin between his personal and professional lives, as Divya makes a new start and a secret that Boris has been harbouring may come back to haunt him

As Royal Pains heads into its penultimate season, producer Michael Rauch is hinting of a happy ending for its lead character, Hank.

Michael Rauch told TV Guide, "Hank is beginning a journey that in a way started off somewhere around the pilot. He's slowly becoming a part of the Hamptons, in a good way. He's feeling very comfortable in his life there, and there may be one element in his life that's missing, which is finding his true love."

Rauch said that a major event in the Season 7 premiere will make this a more pressing matter for Hank.

But will Hank find new love, or return back to his previous lover Jill (Jill Flint)? "We rule nothing out," Rauch teased, when asked about Jill possibly returning in season 7.

But a new promo for season 7 shows Hank proposing to Charlotte.

"There will be new characters introduced, new love interests. Hank kind of has, as we all do, these boxes to check of the things that you feel like will make you compatible with someone and make you happy. It becomes his search to find someone with whom he can be happy," Rauch added.
