WWE SmackDown results: AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn vs Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens

WWE fans witnessed some exciting matches on the latest episode of SmackDown Live aired from the O2 Arena in London, England, on 9 May. In the main card, AJ Styles, Randy Orton and Sami Zayn squared off with Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal and Kevin Owens, while in another fight Becky Lynch took on Natalya.

The show kicked off with Randy Orton who told the crowd that he lost to Bray Wyatt at Payback because Jinder Mahal interfered. The Viper then promised to once again become the champion at Backlash.

The Maharaja entered the ring along with his associates, the Singh brothers. Mahal said he was not responsible for Orton's defeat at the hands of Eater of Worlds. He added that at Backlash he would usher in a new age — the Age of the Maharaja.

Kevin Owens entered and told the two to stop bickering as no one cared about India, the House of Horrors match or England. KO said as he won the United States Championship and retired Chris Jericho in their fight last week, the only thing people should care about was that he was the new face of America. He then added that at Backlash he would end AJ Styles' career.

The Phenomenal One entered and said Owens should get real. Styles said Owens would never become the Face of SmackDown as the blue brand was the former's playground.

Baron Corbin stepped in the ring and was ambushed by Sami Zayn. In the mayhem, Styles attacked Owens, while Mahal with the help of the Singh brothers escaped Orton's clutches.
