Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA with build LXE22 rolling out for Moto X (2nd Gen) in the UK [Download link]
Motorola has started seeding Android 5.0 Lollipop over-the-air update for the 2nd generation Moto X users in the UK.
Multiple readers seem to have confirmed the update that Google's newest Android version is making its way through new Moto X in the country, reports Android Central. As this is a phased roll out the OTA update should arrive for all users gradually.
To check the notification for the update manually, do the following steps
- Open the Settings app
- Scroll down to bottom and tap on About phone
- Tap on system updates
- Tap on Check for update

Several members at the XDA forum have also received the OTA notifications for the Moto X 2014 variant bearing model number XT1092.
"Check your system updates because my UK OTA is happening as we speak," confirmed senior member Nexus-S.
"OTA just hit my xt1092 gb device. Trying to get the OTA link for you guys - I'm in UK", said another member mjdyson.
There is good news for those who are looking for the OTA link. Senior member daywalker04 has shared the retGB Lollipop firmware link for the new Moto X smartphone.
