LG G3 and G2 smartphone users having subscribed to T-Mobile's wireless network service in the US are in for a treat as the Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update has been finally confirmed for the smartphones.

According to an official T-Mobile listing, both the LG G3 and G2 are under the'final-testing' category, which means the Android Lollipop OS update has been approved for these devices and will be released in the near future.

T-Mobile-driven LG G3 and G2 users can check their devices for newer OTA notifications representing Android Lollipop firmware update.

As of now, the Android Lollipop OS update for LG G2 is live in the Asian country of South Korea, but is yet to reach the US and the UK.

As far as the LG G3 is concerned, a section of the smartphone's users having subscribed to Verizon in the US have reported to have received the Lollipop OS upgrade.

Hence, it should be about time that the Android Lollipop is seeded for T-Mobile's LG G2 and G3 users.

To manually check for the OS update, users can navigate to Settings > System Updates > Check for new system update.
