Where to Watch Live

Live telecast of the day will start at 3am GMT. Broadcast will be available on British Eurosport and Eurosport HD and Eurosport 2 and 2 HD.

Overview

The World No 2 came through without a sweat in his first round encounter with Alexander Zverev winning it 6-1, 6-2, 6-3. The Briton has finished runner-up on four occasions at Melbourne Park and will be keen to add the Australian Open to his list of triumphs in Wimbledon and Flushing Meadows. Unlike Djokovic and Federer, this is Murray's first tournament of the season. He is looking for his first Grand Slam since his triumph at SW7 in 2013 and has not lost in the second round of a major since the US Open in 2005.

Sam Groth, meanwhile, needed four sets to beat his first round opponent, Andrian Mannarino, but produced a power-packed game, which included 27 aces and 64 winners. The Australian, however, will want to reduce the number of unforced errors (51) if he wants to have any chance of beating Murray.
