Apple Watch WatchKit Software Development Kit Launches in November 2014

WatchKit, the Apple Watch SDK, will be made available to developers in November 2014, Tim Cook has announced.

Apple has already partnered with developers who have begun designing apps for the Apple Watch ahead of its release early in 2015, but this software development will let anyone with Xcode access begin developing apps specific to the smartwatch.

Watchkit will cover apps of all sorts, from the car-tracking BMW app currently in development to the American Airlines app that will manage boarding passes and aircraft info.
