Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney might rekindle their romance soon. The celebrity couple who had ended their relationship with an Instagram post some time back saying, "we have been taking a break," are reportedly working to "get back together".

According to a report by Us Weekly, Kinney and Gaga "have been talking" and "Taylor really hopes they'll get back together." The news comes after the Poker Face singer ended her 17-month-old relationship with the 35-year-old actor in July citing long-distance issues.

The report further goes on to claim that the Bad Romance singer, too, hopes that their relationship works out. "There is absolutely still a chance they can get back together," a source told the magazine adding, "She still feels terrible and hopes it can work out."

This is not the first time that Gaga has expressed hope in her romance with Kinney. "Taylor and I have always believed we are soul mates," she earlier wrote on her Instagram account announcing the news of their "break". "Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared," she had added.

Gaga had ended her sincere message on the picture-sharing site with a request directed to her fans and followers saying, "Please root us on. We're just like everybody else, and we really love each other."

If rumours are to be believed, both the A-listers' families are trying to help them reconcile their differences. "Both of their families are upset," an insider had told the gossip magazine suggesting a possible reunion in the future.
