Standard Liege youngster Michy Batshuayi has said he wants to move to Arsenal or Borussia Dortmund as soon as next summer.

The Belgian is among the hottest prospects in world football at the moment and his arrival in the Premier League would add another Belgian to the ranks that already include Eden Hazard, Marouane Fellaini, Moussa Dembele, Thomas Vermaelen, Jan Vertonghen, Vincent Kompany, Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke.

Arsenal are also interested in the player, admitted club president Roland Duchatelet.

"Arsenal are not the only club interested, but Michy isn't going anywhere next month," Duchatelet said.

The striker has already scored 12 goals in 17 appearances this season, following the path laid by Benteke before his transfer to Aston Villa in 2012. The striker has taken the Premier League by storm following his arrival and is an inspiration fo the 20-year-old who believes that the time has come for him to make a big move abroad.

"I don't think I think will be playing in Belgium next season. My parents, especially my dad, think I'm ready for the next step. This summer there was some interest, but I decided I didn't want to leave Standard without leaving a trace - being champion or being top scorer. I've two dreams clubs in Europe - Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund. Borussia because of their mix between quality and spirit, Arsenal because they give opportunities to young and talented players," Batshuayi said.

The Gunners are in the market for a striker and were looking at a loan move for Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid. Olivier Giroud is currently the lone striker at Arsenal and an injury to the frontman would mean that Arsene Wenger would have to rely on Nicklas Bendtner, who scored his first goal this season against Hull City.
