Full time: Arsenal 3-0 Chelsea

The humiliation is over for Chelsea as Arsenal claim their first win over the west Londoners since 2011. Three first half goals did the damage, with Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil puncturing a Blues back-line which was torn apart in the opening 45 minutes. The victory is the biggest over Chelsea since 1997. Back to the drawing board for Antonio Conte, who suffered successive defeats as a manager for the first time in seven years.

Well that brings an end to this Premier League live text. It has been a day full of goals and incident, and we're back with more tomorrow in the form of West Ham United against Southampton from the London Stadium. Join us for that, but until then goodbye.

Into the final five minutes at The Emirates Stadium. Chelsea pushing for a consolation, but Pedro fires miles over the bar.

Diego Costa yellow carded for dissent after ranting at referee Michael Olivier. Meanwhile Batshuayi goes through and is denied by Cech; the first real save he has been forced to make.

Gibbs keeps Arsenal's clean sheet intact as Alonso's cross caused a little bit of danger, with Costa and Batshuayi honing in, but the Gunners get it clear. Into the last 10 minutes of what has been a procession at The Emirates.

Olivier Giroud on and Alexis Sanchez off for Arsenal.

Granit Xhaka scored a stunner at Hull last week but he can't repeat the trick as he blazes over from 25 yards. Arsenal haven't possessed the same thrust as they did in the first half, but they did all the hard work in the first half of course.

Pedro gets clear for Chelsea but Hector Bellerin races back and makes if not a goal saving challenge, then certainly a chance saving one.

Michy Batshuayi and Pedro on for Chelsea, Willian and Eden Hazard coming off. Alex Iwobi off and Keiran Gibbs on for Arsenal meanwhile and more than just a hint that Arsene Wenger is happy with what he has.

Gary Cahill has had a nightmare evening and it goes from bad to worse as his clearance is blocked by Theo Walcott, leaving him to have to slam the ball out of play on the full. Kurt Zouma's comeback can't come fast enough.

Chelsea have gone to three at the back, the strategy which proved fruitful for Antonio Conte's Italy at Euro 2016. Don't expect Chelsea to master it this afternoon however, as Arsenal continue to probe.

Cesc Fabregas off and Marcos Alonso on for Chelsea. That should bring some much needed balance for the visitors.

No sign of Chelsea being able to disrupt Arsenal's flow as yet. Alexis Sanchez continues to pick the ball up off the front. Walcott does get away down the right but his cross for the Chilean is overhit and the chance is gone.

Arsenal are currently on course for their biggest win over Chelsea since 1997 - they will be keen to extend that.

Back underway in the second half at The Emirates. Can Chelsea do anything to stem the flow?

Hard to think of when Arsenal have played better. Perhaps in the demolition of Manchester United last season, though you would regard this Chelsea side as far superior to that which Louis van Gaal brought to The Emirates. Alexis Sanchez is starting to convince he can lead the line for the whole season, leaving Olivier Giroud and Lucas Perez on the sidelines.

Half time: Arsenal 3-0 Chelsea

A humbling and humiliating half for Chelsea, as Arsenal look on course to end a five-year run without beating the Blues. Alexis Sanchez has scored one and made another for Mesut Ozil, either side of Theo Walcott's strike amid some horrendous defending from the visitors - with Gary Cahill the guilty man. The game is as good as over, it is just a case of whether the Gunners can pile on the misery for Antonio Conte come the second half.

Chelsea have looked every bit the shambolic outfit they did under Jose Mourinho last season, and Arsenal have merely picked them off without playing outstandingly well. It has been a picturebook first half for them.

Goal: Arsenal 3-0 Chelsea (Mesut Ozil)

One way traffic from Arsenal and they have a third to all-but put them out of sight. Ozil escapes Kante and they have two-on-two on the break. Ozil exchanges passes with Sanchez, whose cross is inch-perfect for the German who volleys' into the ground and over Courtois. Chelsea at sixes and sevens, and Arsenal in supreme form.

Xhaka on for Arsenal now. Chelsea having less success now on the ball, and the Swiss enforcer will be charged with ensuring that continues.

The free-kick hits the wall and goes behind. Francis Coquelin's afternoon looks over, with Granit Xhaka being prepped.

Antonio Conte must be alarmed at how a defence which won the title barely 18 months ago, has regressed. Even the normally reliable Cesar Azpilicueta is a shadow of the player he once was. Arsenal are cutting through at will when they get possession and they have a free-kick in a dangerous position.

Chelsea awful at the back but with the ball they still pose a threat. Hazard combines with Costa and feeds Willian, who shoots just wide of Cech's goal. Arsenal's card marked there.

Goal: Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea (Theo Walcott)

The Gunners are rampant and they double their lead straight away. Cazorla feeds Berlin whose cross is inch perfect for Walcott who steers into an empty net. Chelsea, and particularly Gary Cahill, all over the place at the back.

Goal: Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea (Alexis Sanchez)

Gary Cahill hangs his head and as well he might. Chelsea go from front to back and Cahill miss-hits a pass back to Courtois. Sanchez is onto it like a flash and his delightfully chips the ball over the Blues 'keeper to put Arsenal ahead.

Quick start from both sides and now it is Arsenal's turn to probe as Sanchez has his shot deflected over the crossbar. Chelsea looking dodgy at the back, as they have for much of the season.

Santi Cazorla forces Courtois in a good, yet easy save with a strike from range. The first sighting of Diego Costa sees Koscielny foul the Spaniard and Chelsea have a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area.

Arsenal force an early corner but David Luiz meets it, and though the Brazilian heads it up rather than out, Courtois gathers the loose ball.

Underway in north London. Chelsea kick-off.

Players out at The Emirates Stadium and we're almost ready to go. Cesc Fabregas back at his old stomping ground.

So what of Chelsea? Antonio Conte was enjoying a nice, serene start to life in the Premier League before being defeated by Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. The Blues looked short of ideas throughout the loss to Jurgen Klopp's side, but must recapture that swagger at one of their favourite away grounds. Wenger has not landed a win over Chelsea since 2011 and Conte will be keen to extend that run.

Ian Wright is on BT Sport now demanding changes, but you can't argue with a three-match wining run. Granit Xhaka misses out for Arsenal, who include Francis Coquelin in their midfield.

So it's all over in the six 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League. To review all the action head this way for all the results. Now, on to matters at The Emirates Stadium.....

Olivier Giroud returns for Arsenal but he is only on the bench for the hosts. The Gunners are actually unchanged from the win at Hull, with Granit Xhaka remaining on the bench.

Chelsea name former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas in midfield ahead of Oscar. John Terry misses out for a third straight game as expected, with David Luiz deputising.

And now Chelsea...

Arsenal team confirmed....

So how are we expecting Arsenal and Chelsea to line-up this afternoon?

Olivier Giroud faces a late fitness test after a spell out with a toe injury. Aaron Ramsey is definitely out however with a hamstring injury. Danny Welbeck and Per Mertesacker are longer-term absentees.

Chelsea are without captain John Terry with what is being described as a small setback regarding his comeback from a foot injury. Kurt Zouma also remains out but he could feature after the international break.

We'll have news of the teams at around 4:30pm, but until then you can tuck into one of our two Premier League live blogs currently running on the 3pm Premier League games. You can follow Liverpool vs Hull here, or alternatively the other five matches including Swansea vs Man City here.

The latest installment of Arsenal vs Chelsea may not contain the subtext of Arsene Wenger vs Jose Mourinho, but there has been no getting away from the pair's tempestuous relationship ahead of today's teatime kick-off. The Frenchman has been forced to respond to allegations Mourinho wanted to assault him, and that has worked to overshadow the build-up to one of the most anticipated fixtures of the season. Arsenal have just started to click into gear after an uncertain start, while Antonio Conte's routine start to life in English football was curbed by Liverpool last week. All the build-up and team news to come ahead of the 5:30pm kick-off.
