Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has yet again been detained at a US airport. The Indian actor took to social media to reveal he has been held by US immigration at Los Angeles airport.

Khan took to Twitter to voice his displeasure at being detained by the department "every damn time".

He wrote, "I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks."

However, he found a silver lining in this incident, and it is something all Pokemon fans will relate to. Khan tweeted, "The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons."

In the past, the actor has been held twice by US immigration authorities at two airports — New York and New Jersey. In 2012, Khan was detained at New York airport for over two hours by immigration officials. However, the US customs and border protection authorities had apologised to the star back then.

In 2009, Khan was detained by US immigration officials at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey because his name came up on a computer alert list.

The Bollywood had sarcastically commented about his detention while giving a lecture at Yale University. He said. "Whenever I start feeling too arrogant about myself, I always take a trip to America. The immigration guys kick the star out of stardom."

"(Immigration officials) always ask me how tall I am, and I always lie and say 5 feet 10 inches. Next time, I am going to get more adventurous. (If they ask me) what color are you, I am going to say white," the actor added.
