Bruno Mars Fan Has Never Been Happier To Sell a Ticket After Horrible Gridlock Hits Santa Clara
Concertgoers reported delays of up to two hours as police warned of congestion, road closures and restricted access around the Santa Clara venue

A Bruno Mars fan expressed relief on X after selling a concert ticket, following crowds and traffic delays outside Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara after the singer's Saturday night performance.
The sold-out concert was the first of two stadium shows scheduled for the weekend, marking the final two US stops of The Romantics Tour.
Traffic disruption around the venue was already a familiar problem, with the supplied account describing severe gridlock, multi-hour delays and major road closures after big events.
Bruno Mars Fan Welcomes Ticket Sale
Thousands of concertgoers spilt onto Santa Clara's streets after the performance. An X user who had sold a ticket responded to the crowd in a post, describing relief about the sale.
'I saw what that Levi Stadium crowd looked like last night ... Never been happier to sell a ticket in my life,' the user posted.
The post referred to the crowd rather than describing a personal journey through the congestion. Accounts from people interviewed by NBC Bay Area provided more detail about the traffic and preparations for possible delays.
Alyssa Ariel of Fremont told the broadcaster that leaving took up to two hours. 'Traffic took like a maximum of two hours getting out,' she told NBC Bay Area.
Oakland resident Gizelle M. brought extra batteries because she suspected she could remain in traffic for a long time. 'It's horrible,' she told the outlet.
Her preparations reflected an expectation of delays. Ariel's account, meanwhile, described the time required to leave following the concert.
Police Warning Preceded Bruno Mars Fan Reaction
Before the performances, the Santa Clara Police Department issued a traffic advisory warning drivers to anticipate major delays and street closures across the South Bay.
The warning identified several major routes where heavy congestion was expected. These included Highways 101, 237 and 880, alongside Lawrence, Great America and San Tomas expressways.
Police outlined restrictions extending beyond the time of Saturday's performance. Tasman Drive was scheduled to remain closed from 1:30 a.m. on Saturday through the end of Sunday's event.
The advisory also covered authority-directed detours affecting vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians.
The restrictions therefore applied to people travelling through the area by different means, as well as drivers approaching or leaving the stadium.
A closure of the San Tomas Aquino/Saratoga Creek Trail at Agnew Road was scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on both days. That separate restriction formed part of the arrangements announced ahead
of the weekend shows.

Bruno Mars Fans Had Parking and Pick-up Restrictions
For those travelling to the stadium, the police department also outlined parking access and rideshare arrangements. Parking lots were scheduled to open at 4 p.m. for pre-purchased permit holders only.
The stated opening time did not mean parking was available to every arriving driver. Access was limited to people who already held the required permits.
Rideshare pick-ups were restricted to Red Lot 7, identifying a designated collection point for passengers leaving by that means. The advisory set out these arrangements alongside the anticipated congestion and closures.
Mars was scheduled to perform again at Levi's Stadium at 7 p.m. on Sunday for his final Santa Clara show. The tour was then due to conclude in Vancouver, British Columbia.
