D4vd Case Update: Newly Released Photos of Celeste Rivas with D4vd and Neo Langston Ignite Possible Evidence of Who She Was With
Photos and WiFi logs could provide crucial evidence in the case of Celeste Rivas

On 8 September 2025, the severely decomposed remains of a 15-year-old girl, who had been reportedly missing for a year, were found inside the trunk of a Tesla parked in an impound lot in Los Angeles.
Prior to the discovery, an employee of the impound yard reported a foul smell coming out of the Tesla, prompting authorities to launch an investigation.

The case has been highly associated with singer D4vd, whose behind the viral TikTok song Here With Me, as the vehicle was registered under the singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke.
Now, newly released photos of Celeste Rivas with the rising singer D4vd and Twitch streamer Neo Langston, who is well-known online as NeoTheAsian and a close friend of the singer was shared by private investigator Steve Fischer. The investigator said that the photographs ignite possible evidence of who Rivas was with before.
What Evidence Do the Newly Released Photos Hold?
In an X post, Private investigator Steve Fischer, hired by the owner of the Hollywood Hills property that D4vd had been renting for approximately £15,700 ($20,000) per month, released new photos of Rivas with D4vd and Langston.
He claimed that on 31 December 2024 at around 10:00pm, several people, including Rivas was in D4vd's house.
Although Rivas was not clearly visible in the photos, the PI believes she was 'present.'
Fischer added, 'The iPhone she had previously been pictured with appears to match the phone and case seen on the table, along with a Hello Kitty mug.'
'Another photo, which appears to have been taken by David, shows what are likely Celeste's fingers on a bottle,' he continued.
Fischer then pointed out Rivas' phone, he said, 'The phone that is likely Celeste's appears to be on the WiFi settings screen and connected to the WiFi network. Even though iPhones use a "Private WiFi Address" feature, the address remains fixed for a specific network, meaning it stays the same each time that device reconnects to that router.'
He then shared possible evidence of who Rivas was at the time that law enforcement should look into – the router logs.
Fischer said, 'Hopefully, law enforcement investigators have reviewed the router logs to determine exactly when Celeste's phone, and everyone else's phones, were connected to the home's WiFi network.'

He added that investigators should compare the gathered information against the 'statements each person provided about when they were at the house and who else was there, including Celeste.'
'For example, if individuals in the photos, including these photos and many others, claimed they did not see Celeste or were not at the house, yet the router logs show their phone was connected to the WiFi, that would raise serious questions,' Fischer explained.
The private investigator who has advocated justice for the teenager concluded his post with: 'We cannot forget about Celeste or the justice she deserves. It has now been more than five months, and no charges have been filed.'
He also clarified that the last photo of the 15-year-old was not from the same night and was only posted for observers and internet sleuths to see and compare.
Recent Update on the Case
By November 2025, the singer had been formally identified as a suspect. On 29 December 2025, TMZ broke the news that D4vd is 'likely' to be indicted in connection with the murder of Rivas, though no charges have yet been filed.
On 22 January 2026, D4vd's close friend, Neo Langston, was arrested for failing to appear as a witness before a Los Angeles grand jury. He was later released on a bond of approximately £44,000 ($60,000). Langston appeared before the grand jury, and his testimony reportedly lasted only 30 to 40 minutes.
Last week, reports said that D4vd's family was subpoenaed to appear before the Los Angeles County grand jury to testify in relation to the case of the teenager.
The family attempted to block the summons by filing habeas corpus petitions in a Texas court, arguing that their due process rights were being violated. However, those petitions were recently denied, requiring them to comply.
Now, buried in the habeas corpus petition document is a shocking footnote that reads: 'The underlying case is The People of the State of California v. David Burke.' This was revealed by Fischer in an X post.

According to legal experts, this could mark the beginning of a criminal case against the 20-year-old singer. Five months after the discovery of Rivas' remains, justice might be near for her.
