New Valencia boss Gary Neville is looking for a reaction from his players against Eibar on 13 December after his first match in charge of the club ended in defeat at the hands of Lyon in the Champions League.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 3pm GMT. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 4 HD.

Overview

Eibar are on a three-match winless run in La Liga that has soured a solid start to the season and has seen them drop to the ninth place in La Liga. The Basque outfit will hope to gain a measure of revenge against Valencia after losing both league fixtures against the Mestalla outfit last season.

Goalkeeper Jaime Jimenez and playmaker Eddy Pascual are both sidelined through injury and will not feature at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium.

Gary Neville's managerial debut ended in disappointment as Valencia crashed out of the Champions League following a 2-0 defeat against Lyon in midweek. The former Manchester United defender must now turn his attention to La Liga, with his team five points adrift of the top four spots in the eighth place.

The visitors are without the injured quartet of Enzo Perez, Antonio Barragan, Diego Alves and Rodrigo for the trip to the Basque Country. Joao Cancelo and Javi Fuego return from bans, but Dani Parejo is suspended.

What managers say

Jose Luis Mendilibar: "Valencia will to want to win and climb in the table, because their goal is far from where they are now. We play every game to win but we have lost the last three. That means something's wrong, and we need to fix what went wrong."

Gary Neville: "Who we draw [in the Europa League round of 32] and whether we play Manchester United is the last thing on my mind at this moment in time. I'm thinking about Sunday's game [against Eibar] in the league, I'm thinking about recuperation, recovery and making sure the players are well prepared for Sunday."
