Ahead of his Las Vegas showdown with Marcos Maidana, undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather continued to talk up his hopes of buying beleaguered basketball team the LA Clippers.
The NBA franchise has been embroiled in a racism row after its owner Donald Sterling was caught telling his mistress not to fraternise with black people. Mayweather now wants to put $40m, the guaranteed minimum he will receive from Saturday's fight, towards purchasing the Clippers.
