Little did Jane and Rafael know that a medical accident would bind them forever as Jane The Virgin proceeds towards its season 3 finale. Following numerous ups and downs, the pair has finally developed a withstanding bond, and actor Justin Baldoni believes it may even turn into something everlasting.
The CW series is just three episodes away from its much anticipated season finale on Monday, 22 May at 9pm EST, but before that here's everything fans can expect from the upcoming three episodes.
Jane and Rafael's reunion
Team Rafael fans may have reasons to celebrate as chances are that Jane will end up with her baby daddy in the final episode of season 3. "There's a chance they could be endgame," Baldoni revealed teasing a happily ever-after for his character Rafael and Jane.
Although the actor admitted he is not sure what show-creator Jennie Snyder Urman has planned in the future, he still has hopes for a happy ending for Jane and Rafael. "I think the two could very well seem meant to be. They've had a lot of challenges, and we'll see. If it's what the fans want, then maybe it's possible," Baldoni added.
Gina Rodriguez recently shared a picture from the set and to everyone's surprise Brett Dier was present. The actor, who starred as Jane's one true love Michael had a tragic end earlier in the season, when he died following complications of getting shot by the villainous Sin Rosetro. But, he might return in flashbacks or memories to help Jane to make some difficult decisions.
Xo and Rogelio will share their big news with Jane
Sparks have been flying between the two since season 1, but now as the show is nearing its third season's finale Jane's parents might finally share their big news with her.
Official synopsis teases, "Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) are eager to share their news with Jane, but want to try to take her feelings into consideration.
An old lover will surface
Complications and Jane goes hand-in-hand, and right when things will finally be falling in place, Tyler Posey's character, Adam will join the narrative as one of her old lovers. "I can't tell you much about Tyler's character, but I do think it's going to complicate Jane's love life," Baldoni told Hollywood Life.
Narrator's identity to be revealed
According to Jane The Virgin's showrunner, the identity of the mysterious narrator, who seems to have an intimate knowledge about everyone's life, has been hinted on several time during the seasons. Whether it's Jane's grown-up son Mateo or Michael, fans will "find out in the last episode of the series", as per Jet Magazine.
