Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murdering 17-year-old Jordan Brennan.

Jordan died of a head injury after he was assaulted outside a grocery store in Groton, Manchester, on the evening of 10 October.

He went to bed but was found unresponsive by his mother the following morning.

A spokesman from Greater Manchester Police confirmed a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy handed themselves in to the station in the early hours and were arrested on suspicion of murder.

They are being held in custody for further questioning.
