After the wedding and engagement season, the Duggar family looks ready to welcome more babies to their extensive brood. After Jessa Seewald and her elder sister Jill Dillard, it appears Joy-Anna will be the newest one to join the mothers' group and the hint has come directly from Jim Bob Duggar.

During the reunion episode of the family's docu-series Counting On, the patriarch of the evangelical Christian family gave a subtle yet cryptic hint that his newly married daughter may be expecting her first baby.

Upon asked by the show host Stephanie Oz on the future prospects of the series, Jim Bob hinted that perhaps the next season will see more Duggar babies followed by the highly anticipated wedding of his son Joseph with Kendra Caldwell.

"It's probably going to be Joseph and Kendra, maybe their relationship, maybe getting a little closer and then, who knows? Maybe Joy and Austin will have a little one on the way. You never know what will happen," he told the show host.

However, he soon realised his gaffe and tried to limit the damage by bringing in the names of another newlywed couple from the family, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo, into the conversation. "Maybe Jinger and Jeremy," he added. The father of 19 also expressed his desire to be the grandfather of 200 grandchildren,

Joy-Anna is the fifth daughter of the 52-year-old Duggar patriarch and wife Michelle. She got married to Austin Forsyth only two months ago.

Jinger, who got married in November 2016, has defied the family's unspoken tradition of producing children soon after marriage; she was also seen wearing slim jeans and figure-hugging tops, another no-no for the family. The famous Duggar couple, who shifted to Texas post marriage, recently bought a 1,500sqft four-bedroom house in Laredo but are mum about growing their family.

Nineteen-year-old Joy Anna and her 22-year-old husband, however, appeared happy in After Show Parts 1 and 2, about extending their brand new family. As of now, the baby news will have to wait as the Duggar clan is preparing for a grand wedding, scheduled for later this year.

Joseph and Kendra hosted a joint bachelor-bachelorette party. "We figured this would be a really good activity for both of our families to connect. We ended up doing the waterskiing and tubing for our joint bachelor-bachelorette party because Kendra loves the water, and I just enjoy doing whatever she's doing," the couple told People.

Their wedding will be featured in the next season of Counting On, which is set to return on Monday, 11 September at 9/8pm CT on TLC.
