A  faulty train caused huge disruption on the Jubilee Line

A faulty train on London Underground has caused major disruption on the Jubilee line during morning rush hour on Tuesday (5 April). Transport for London (TfL) confirmed an incident at Westminster station in which the carriage doors did not open on the platform had resulted in minor delays on the entire line.

The faulty train was eventually terminated, with passengers at some of the underground's busiest stations facing long queues before being able to board trains.

A Tfl spokesperson confirmed: "Minor delays on the entire line due to an earlier faulty train at Westminster."
