According to a report by The News International, an insider said Cyrus's friends are worried that her desire to clear the air and finally gain closure with the 36-year-old Australian actor could cause problems with his fiancée, 29-year-old Australian model Gabriella Brooks.

The source added that Hemsworth's fiancée is firmly against him meeting or speaking with Cyrus.

The insider also said that the 33-year-old pop star 'had a tough time', they said, 'As much as Miley has tried to move on, she's really had a tough time.'

They continued, 'She's the type of person who hates leaving things unsaid, and she swears that's the reason she wants to see Liam. He was her first everything.'

However, despite Miley wanting to seek closure and clear the air between them, Liam avoided it.

'Liam hates confrontation, so he's avoided Miley since things imploded,' the insider said. 'He literally just ghosted her – which has only made it harder for her,' the insider revealed.
