'The Biggest Oasis Return Yet': Gallagher Brothers Announce Huge 2027 Tour With Knebworth Dates

Oasis will play four nights at Knebworth in 2027, returning to the Hertfordshire site 31 years after their landmark 1996 concerts. The band's Oasis Live 27 tour will open at Celtic Park in Glasgow on 21 May, with five shows scheduled before 11 dates at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium in June.

The tour will then head to stadiums in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome throughout July. In August, Oasis will play three nights at Gillette Stadium near Boston and three at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, before heading to Slane Castle in Ireland and then returning to Knebworth for four September shows.

Oasis announced the tour with a statement reading: 'START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!! After a period of reflection The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people.

Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.' The statement echoed a description of the band in a Guardian opinion piece, which called Oasis 'the most damaging pop cultural force in recent British history' and said the force was now 'fit for purpose' and ready to 'lift the spirits of the people'.

The 2027 tour follows Oasis' 2025 reunion, their first live run since the band's split in 2009. That tour played 41 dates across the UK, Europe, the Americas and Asia and was associated with increased activity in the live music economy and renewed demand for Oasis vinyl releases.

Oasis Return to Knebworth

Oasis first played Knebworth in August 1996, performing two sold-out nights in front of around 250,000 people. The concerts attracted roughly 2.5 million ticket applications and became one of the defining moments of the Britpop era, later documented in the film Oasis Knebworth 1996.

The possibility of a return to Knebworth had been discussed before the 2027 announcement.

Baroness Taylor of Stevenage suggested in 2025 that Oasis could play five Knebworth shows, but later told the Guardian she was speaking hypothetically about 2026.

SJM Concerts secured an event licence for Knebworth House allowing events for up to 125,000 people.

Oasis have now confirmed four Knebworth shows, with the licence allowing for events of that capacity.

Ticketing Shaken up After 2025 Backlash

The announcement also comes after controversy surrounding ticket prices for the 2025 reunion tour. Some fans saw standing-ticket prices rise from £148.50 to more than £350 as cheaper tickets sold out, prompting an investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority.

For the 2027 tour, ticket prices are listed at between £71.50 and £266.60. Organisers have promised further pricing details, while changes secured by the CMA mean fans must be given 24 hours' notice if tiered pricing is used, with affected tickets specified and live price ranges displayed while fans are in an online queue.

There will be no general sale for Oasis Live 27, with fans required to register through the Oasis website by 4pm BST on 17 September. Organisers said the registration system was designed to reduce queuing and ticket touting, while selected US fans will receive access codes between 24 and 27 September.

Noel Gallagher has ruled out new music alongside the tour, saying the band had decided to continue the reunion after enjoying the 2025 shows. The documentary Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger, which premiered in Venice before its UK cinema release, also features the brothers' first joint interview since 2009.
