PS Plus February Leak Sparks Backlash as Fans Question the Monthly Value
A leaked February PS Plus game has left subscribers unimpressed so far.

A fresh leak surrounding the PlayStation Plus Essential February 2026 line-up has sparked frustration across the community, with many subscribers questioning whether the service is still delivering value for money.
The rumoured headline title has failed to excite large sections of the player base, reigniting a familiar debate about the consistency of Sony's monthly offerings. Every month, PS Plus subscribers are granted access to a small selection of free games that can be redeemed for a limited time.
Once claimed, these titles remain playable as long as the user maintains an active subscription. While the service has previously delivered major hits, expectations appear to be running high heading into February 2026.
Leaked Main Title Leaves Fans Unconvinced
According to a leak from trusted insider Billbil Kun, the next Essential lineup may already be decided. However, with no official confirmation from Sony at the time of writing, the reaction highlights how sensitive players have become to perceived dips in quality.

The backlash centres on claims that the main PS Plus Essential game for February 2026 will be Undisputed, a boxing title that has divided opinion since launch. The information comes from well-known gaming leaker Bilibil-Kun, who has a strong track record when it comes to PlayStation subscription leaks.
The leaker suggests the game will be available to download from 3 February at 9am GMT (4am ET / 1am PT), remaining accessible until the same time on 3 March. The leak quickly circulated online, where many users expressed disappointment, with some arguing that Undisputed does not feel like a headline monthly title.
Several comments described the rumoured selection as 'underwhelming' and questioned whether Sony is relying too heavily on niche or recently discounted games. Others defended the pick, noting that sports fans may still find value in the inclusion.
Predicted Games Could Soften The Blow
Alongside the leaked main title, speculation has also turned to what additional games could round out the February 2026 line-up. According to NME, among the predicted inclusions is Demon's Souls for PS5, the acclaimed remake of the PlayStation classic rebuilt from the ground up by Bluepoint Games. Known for its punishing difficulty and stunning visuals, the title would be a significant addition if included.
Another predicted game is Severed Steel on PS5 and PS4, a stylish single-player first-person shooter focused on fluid movement, destructible environments and cinematic combat. Its fast-paced gameplay and unique one-armed protagonist could appeal to players looking for something different.
Rounding out the predictions is Little Kitty: Big City, a charming adventure available on PS5 and PS4. The game places players in the role of a mischievous cat exploring an urban environment, offering a lighter, more casual experience that contrasts sharply with February's rumoured main title.
Games Leaving PS Plus in February 2026
As new titles potentially arrive, several games are confirmed to be leaving the PS Plus Essential service in early February 2026. Subscribers have until 2 February to claim Need For Speed: Unbound on PS5, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed on PS5 and PS4, and Core Keeper on PS5 and PS4.
The removal of these titles has further fuelled concerns about value, particularly among players who feel the outgoing games outweigh what may be coming in.
It is worth noting that Sony has yet to officially confirm the February 2026 line-up, leaving fans waiting to see whether the final announcement will change the narrative.
