After turning the internet upside down by tweeting an edited video of his infamous WWE appearances, US President Donald Trump might not enjoy a similar video going viral.

Created by Buzzfeed video producer, Jesse McLaren, this video has Trump on the recieving end of a smackdown, rather than the way he preferred in his post.

Trump's tweet, with a video that some have suggested came from an antisemitic Reddit user, featured him laying into WWE boss Vince McMahon with the CNN logo overlayed on McMahon's head. The message was a continuation of Trump's fight with the media, with many of his barbs aimed at CNN's coverage.

McLaren's post instead features Trump getting the smackdown for a character with the FBI's seal overlayed on his head - presumably a reference to investigations by the several government bodies into Russian interference in the last US presidential election and whether members of the Trump campaign colluded with Russian-backed hackers.

The FBI character in the edited video then catches a can and proceeds to drink victoriously.

McLaren tweeted out the video with the caption: "Ok Twitter- let's see if this wrestling meme can get MORE RETWEETS that the president's wrestling meme."

At the time of writing, the tweet has amassed over 150,000 retweets - just under half of the 309,000 Trump's tweet has so far garnered. The retweets on both posts are still rising.

Trump's administration got into hot water after the firing of FBI Director James Comey, who later recounted odd conversations he had had with the President that he said he had recorded on memos straight after the events had taken place.
