A TV presenter appeared to struggle to suppress her laughter after her colleague said the name of missing 34-year-old Dixon Myaz during a report, with the presenter seemingly trying to hide her reaction by taking a drink from her cup.

The presenter appeared to fight back laughter as she took a drink from her cup immediately after hearing Myaz's name, seemingly using it to conceal her reaction. The response appears to have been prompted by how 'Dixon Myaz' sounds when spoken aloud, creating a crude double meaning that several viewers later picked up on.

The footage was shared on Facebook with the caption, 'Let's help find this POS'. The description was used by the person who posted the Reel and is not an independently verified characterisation of Myaz.

Why the Presenter Appeared To Laugh

According to the Reel's transcript, police are asking for help locating 34-year-old Myaz, who was reported missing Tuesday morning.

Myaz was last seen near Bayfront Park in St Petersburg, wearing a grey hoodie and jeans. Anyone with information was urged to call the number displayed on screen, with police saying tipsters could remain anonymous.

The reaction came moments after the colleague said 'Dixon Myaz' while delivering the report. The presenter appeared to bite back a smile and take a drink from her cup, seemingly attempting to keep her reaction under control.

Several viewers interpreted the pronunciation of 'Dixon Myaz' as sounding like the crude phrase 'd**** in my a**', apparently explaining the presenter's reaction.

The apparent reaction therefore appears to have been connected to the pronunciation and wordplay rather than the circumstances of the missing-person report.

Viewers Realise the Dixon Myaz Wordplay

Several Facebook users said they did not immediately understand why the presenter was reacting.

One viewer wrote: 'I didn't even understand til I saw the lady giggling so I had to watch it again'.

Another said: 'me too! I was like what did I miss then I heard it omg poor guy'.

Other viewers said they needed multiple attempts to catch the joke.

One commented: 'it took me like three times to finally get Dixon Myaz..... AND REALIZED..'.

Another wrote: 'me too. I was flowing with myaz until they zoomed in on her'.

The comments suggest that the presenter's facial expression and attempt to conceal her laughter helped some viewers realise the double meaning.

Viewers React to the Awkward Moment

Others said they would have struggled to keep a straight face themselves after hearing the name.

One Facebook user wrote: 'It's NOOOO WAY i could've held my laugh in. I would've been dying laughing'.

Another said: 'It took me a second to catch the Dixon part too! Myaz was funny enough!'.

A further viewer admitted: 'I'm so dirty, I got it the first time I watched it ...& then thereafter the other 20x I rewatched it!!'.

Another summed up the reaction by writing: 'It's unhealthy how many times I watched this'.

The repeated reactions centred on the same pronunciation, with viewers saying the presenter's attempt to keep a straight face made the wordplay even more noticeable.

Myaz's name has also appeared in other recent online media. A September 2026 episode of Doom Scrollin' with Sam Tripoli and Midnight Mike included a segment listed as 'Missing person - Dixon Myaz', while a Mai Home Run episode titled 'FULL SHOW - DIXON MYAZ' was published on 6 October 2026.
