Muhammed Saleem is today due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with supplying fake documents.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's counter terrorism unit arrested 28-year-old Saleem, along with a 33-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, on Saturday, on suspicion of supplying forged documents.
All three were taken to a central London police station while investigators searched addresses in the East Midlands and London.
Saleem, of Abbey Wood, south east London, was last night charged with Fraud Act Offences, namely possession/controlling an article for use in fraud - contrary to the Fraud Act 2006 and Section 329 Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
The other two suspects remain in custody while a search in east London continues.
